PreCompany
An introduction to increased training for younger developing dancers showing interest and potential.
Company I
Developing competitive dancers build technique, responsibility, performance skills and confidence.
Company II
Experienced dancers take on increased expectations and continue advancing their technical and performance training.
Placement is based on training, ability, readiness and overall development, not age alone.

Competition gives our dancers another opportunity to perform, receive feedback, experience new choreography, watch dancers from throughout the region, and become more confident performing under pressure.
We celebrate great dancing wherever we see it and teach our dancers that a placement doesn't define their success.
WHAT TO EXCPECT
Competitive dance is a commitment.
We want families to understand that commitment before saying yes.
Training
Company dancers take required technique and choreography classes based on their placement and competitive styles.
Competition
Company dancers typically attend 1–2 regional competitions in addition to NLDC annual recital.
Attendance
Consistent attendance matters. Each dancer plays an important role in their team's choreography and progress.
Financial Commitment
Families should plan for tuition, competition entry fees, costumes, and required shoes. Costs vary by placement and routines.
